Pelican: The Cliff EP

For those that loved Pelican’s (US) Forever Becoming (2013), 2015’s The Cliff is a fresh “vocal reimagining” of the much-loved album.

Featuring select tracks in an EP format, the release reveals remixes by Justin Broadrick (Jesu, Godflesh), and Aaron Harris and Bryant Clifford Meyer of ISIS/Palms fame. Also, for the only the second time in their 14-year career, vocals—this time, by Allen Epley (Shiner, The Life And Times).

“The Cliff may be an experiment… but it’s an experiment that was worth undertaking and the fans should be very pleased with what they have here.” — Drowned In Sound

“The Cliff works as an expertly curated maxi-single, but also as a top-to-bottom journey in inspiration, purpose, and emotional resonance.” — Under The Radar
